I should have read the measurements, because this is more like a medium sized basket.The photo of this is very misleading! We expected it to be a lot larger!I love this rope basket. I wanted a place to stash extra TV-watching quilts. I studied all the baskets offered and their feedback. I'm so glad I decided on this one. It has a soft, luxurious feel, but it’s sturdy as well. I like the beige color with stands of gold woven into it. I particularly like the braided handles that add a bit of elegance. Right now, I have two quilts and a pillow in it, and there’s room for more. I would recommend this basket.This basket was just what I wanted. It feels like great quality and will be perfect in my baby’s nursery. It was pretty good shapewise when I unfolded it, but you could still see the creases a bit. I ironed the inside a bit and now it’s perfect.I have about 10 blankets in here- 1 comforter, several of the 5 foot sherpa blankets, some queen size blankets, and some toss blankets. It fits all of my blankets, and we have so many! This keeps it shape and stays up on it's own. It is also gorgeous! Make sure to stuff it full of stuff for a few days to get the shape back from being shipped. I'd recommend it!Beautiful and very well made, although I had to return because it had a (very light) fresh kinda minty smell.I have chemical sensitivities that will bother my lungs when you can barely smell it.I would definitely recommend this basket...These baskets did not disappoint and after reading several reviews of many different basket listings I was a bit worried. These are durable and the gold woven into the rope adds just enough extra design to make these really stand out in my living area but still blend in with the surrounding colors. The knot handles are an even more impressive touch! They are all natural with no chemical smells like some polyester items can omit. They come folded down, but after opening them up they stand on their own and are a very nice size. I use them under my coffee table for throws. An excellent purchase!The basket came out of the packaging kind of squished and mishapened but it’s definitely high quality woven rope! It’s not pure white, there are gold threads woven into the white rope fibers.Be warned of the size in case you’re not sure. It’s not quite large enough to be a laundry basket/pail. It will hold one load of clothes where as laundry baskets and hampers I’m used to are taller and will hold two. Maybe better for a load of baby clothes.I personally use this basket to hold my dog’s toys. It’s rustic and cute looking and fits with my decor.The quality is definitely superb, heavy, but soft rope.
