It's ok, but for $50+ I would expect it to have at least been packed so it wouldn't get damaged. A small piece of the basket was broken off during shipping. Nothing major, but I would have expected better protocol from this manufacturer.This is a replacement basket for my bike. There is no comparison, because this basket is so much more thicker and sturdier. Easy to install with a leather strap/buckles, and it doesn't wobble around like my previous one did! Pricey, but very happy with this brand!!Super well made and super great looking on a Electra/ or Townie beach crusier bike! It looks amazing!The colors they offer besides the white are off the charts fun looking too! I struggled to choose from the white and the blues........ that match my bike spot on. Just get it and don't hesitate! You will love it!This basket is great. It is big and can hold all of my items. It was very easy to install and is very sturdy!I purchased a white basket for my Day 6 semi-recumbent bicycle. I have the coolest bike EVER. The only negative is that people stop and stare and ask me where I got my bike interrupting my ride. The basket is great for carrying small items such as a cell phone, a sweater or small jacket, etc... Even my riding buddy asks if she can put her sweater in too when she gets a little warm - plenty of room. I use it for picking up fresh baked bread to take home after my ride. Love it!!!!The basket has two leather straps that buckle. This is perfect for my bike. I strap it onto the lower part of the handlebar and it hangs just above the front wheel (be sure to measure the distance from your handlebar to the top of the wheel). It is sturdy and does not bounce around (which was an initial concern). I am not worried that it will come loose and fall off. The straps are well made and should last for years to come. The only negative, if it is a concern to you, is that anyone could simply unbuckle it and take off with it if left unprotected; but there's not anything that can stop a determined thief. They would probably take the whole bike if it is not cable locked. Sad that we have to think about this!!!!!Lastly, I like the front basket much better than adding all of the additional equipment for a basket in the back. The savings and the way the basket looks is ideal for me. No fenders were added nor any additional hardware.I'm in love, Not cheaply made. I keep my bike in the garage so I'm hoping the quality will remain, if it does not hold up with minimal use, I will update. The basket is deep enough as you can see. At first I thought it was too big, but it is just right. Although it was a bit pricey, my bike wouldn't have been complete without it.I bought the Nantucket bicycle basket for my pre-teen granddaughter and she loved it. It was the perfect size for her bike. At first I had a hard time finding the right color or the color that we wanted but finally found the right one.
